Early Life & High School
Born May 10, 2001, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Tari Jordan Eason grew up in Seattle, Washington with three brothers

He began at Garfield High School under former NBA All-Star Brandon Roy. After limited minutes his first two years, Eason transferred to Federal Way High for his junior season, playing alongside Jaden McDaniels. He later returned to Garfield as a senior.

In his senior season, he led Garfield to a 3A state championship, scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the final, earning tournament MVP. He averaged 23 PPG, 8 RPG, and 3 SPG, earning 3A State Player of the Year honors.

College Career

Cincinnati (Freshman Year, 2020‑21)
Eason joined Cincinnati, where he averaged 7.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 1.2 steals in 19.6 minutes over 23 games. He earned AAC All-Freshman Team honors.

LSU (Sophomore Year, 2021‑22)
Transferring to LSU, Eason earned SEC Sixth Man of the Year and was named First‑Team All‑SEC.
